10 November, Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Tetiana Popova will visit the radio and television transmitting station “Holmy” of BRT Concern Chernihiv branch.

Recently, pursuant to the decision of the Commission on ensuring the stable functioning of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting under the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, a new analog TV transmitter with capacity of 10 kilowatts to increase a zone of consistent reception of the national programs of UT1, “UA: Suspilne Movlennia” (” UA:Public Broadcasting”) in Koriukivka, Semeniv, Novhorod-Siverskyi and other parts of Chernihiv region was placed into service in RTPS “Holmy”. Transmitter installation enables significant expansion of the national information space and to prevent the negative impact of the Russian propaganda on the inhabitants of the northern regions of Chernihiv.

The event will be attended by head of the Regional State Administration Valeryi Kulich and CEO of BRT Concern Volodymyr Ishchuk.
