MCIP coordinates the activities of libraries, promotes the centralized collection and use of library funds, coordinates the work of unifying libraries into a single library and information system, and agrees the decisions of executive authorities and local self-government bodies regarding the reorganization and liquidation of libraries that are in the state and communal property.
