11 and 12 December, Advisor to the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Dmytro Zolotukhin will conduct training on searching information in open sources for journalists and bloggers in Mykolaiv and Mariupol.
During the trainings participants will learn, by using OSINT tools, to use search techniques in online space to expose fakes and to check sources of information, and also to use online sources to expose signs of corruption of officials and to conduct journalists’ investigations.
The best practices and experience of this kind were presented by Ukrainian and foreign speakers at the annual conference on journalists’ investigations which was recently held by the Regional Press Development Institute.
