17 June, in Chernihiv, an open training on information intelligence and OSINT-techniques for journalists, bloggers and civil activists of the field will be held. Practical training will be conducted by Adviser to the Minister of information policy of Ukraine Dmytro Zolotukhin.
Free training of journalists, bloggers, analysts and social activists throughout Ukraine conducts the Institute post-informational society within the framework of «OSINTAcademy» with the support of the European Endowment For Democracy and the Ministry of information policy of Ukraine. Training in Chernihiv is organized by the educational project “VUM on-line”.
The aim of the OSINTAcademy project is to teach everyone to use the latest OSINT techniques to protect themselves and the citizens of Ukraine from information manipulation. Bits of knowledge received during training will help in the creation of socially important content, including about corrupt politicians, officials, candidates for office, to identify “fake” information of some mass media.
