4 – 6 April 2016, Deputy Minister Tetiana Popova and Advisors to the Minister Alina Frolova, Ivetta Delikatnaya and Dmytro Zolotukhin will participate in the the Spring NATO Academy "Strategic communications in the conditions of hybrid war"

The Center for information and documentation of NATO in Ukraine and the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv are holding the Spring NATO Academy “Strategic communications in the conditions of hybrid war”.

The purpose of the Spring NATO Academy is raising awareness of the Ukrainian society, especially young people, on matters of security, NATO’s activities and role of strategic communications in the conditions of hybrid war and information threats.

Main objectives are:

– To consider NATO’s experience in providing effective strategic communications in contemporary conflicts, and information warfare;

– To identify common features of communications during the period of hybrid war (on the example of Estonia and Georgia)

– To analyze the experience and possibilities of strategic communications in countering the Russian propaganda;

– To consider features of the government communications of Ukraine in the conditions of hybrid war;

– To raise awareness of the socially active youth in relation to modern trends of security.

Location: Ukraine, Kyiv, the Red building of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Volodymyrska str., 60.

Participants: representatives of NATO, invited experts from Poland, Estonia, Georgia and Ukraine, Ukrainian and foreign students.

Format: round tables, lectures, discussions, master classes.
