INDEPENDENCE DAY: FIRST CRIMEAN OPEN AIR TO BE HELD IN KYIV

On August 17 at 11:00 a.m., a press conference of the organizers of the celebratory Open Air “Crimean House Unites Hearts” (Hall 1) takes place.

Organized by: Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.

Participants: Yevhen Nyshchuk, Minister of Culture of Ukraine; Emine Dzhaparova, First Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine; Akhtem Seitablaiev, Director-General of SE “Crimean House”; Alim Aliev, programming director of SE “Crimean House”.

Additional Information. At the press conference, the programme of the events of the Crimean House for the Independence Day will be presented.

“Crimean House Unites Hearts” is a series of the celebratory events of the Crimean House for the 26th anniversary of Ukraine’s Independence Day.

During the entire August 24, a holiday concert will be staged at the Poshtova Square featuring famous Crimean Tatar and Ukrainian artists, including Zlata Ognevich, Elzara Batalova, Aziza Ibrahimova, jazz pianist and composer Usein Bekirov, punk-rock band “Shatur-Gudur”, and many others.

Also, as part of the celebration, a series of workshops on traditional Crimean Tatar arts will be held, in particular with the participation of potter Rustem Skybin and his studio, a cooking workshop, as well as a fair of popular and applied arts and of decorative arts.
