On 8 August, at 11:00 a.m., a press conference titled “Celebrating the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples” takes place (Hall 1).
Organized by: Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.
Participants: Refat Chubarov, people’s deputy of Ukraine, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people; Emine Dzhaparova, First Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine; Yulia Tyshchenko, Head of the Council, Head of the Democratic Processes Support Program of the Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research.
Additional Information. In the course of the press conference, a national communication campaign of the Ministry of Information Policy dedicated to August 9, the International day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, will be presented.
The national communication campaign includes thematic billboards, citylights, and a video ad which share a common topic, “Three Peoples, One Root”, as well as a special event, “Qirim aksami” (Crimean Evening), which will take place at America House.
