MIP initiates performance of historic play about the relationship between the Ukrainian and the Crimean Tatar peoples to the Day of the Crimean Tatar literature and culture

5 November 2016, a performance “On one way / bir ELU” of Volodymyr Zavalniuk theater on the occasion of the Day of the Crimean Tatar literature and culture will take place at 7.00 p.m. at Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theatre (Chamber stage named after Serhiy Danchenko) at the address: Kyiv, 3 Ivan Franko str..

The goal is to emphasize the importance of unification of the two peoples, the Ukrainian and the Crimean Tatar in the fight for common ideas and values.

Prime Minister of Ukraine, Ministers, MPs, representatives of the Mejlis, the public, and others are invited to the event.

Actors of the theater will perform on stage historical relationships between the Ukrainian and the Crimean Tatar peoples based on facts from the documentary videos, public figures interviews, experts, politicians, and historians. The storyline shows that the periods of cooperation between the Ukrainians and the Crimean Tatars were interspersed with periods of hostility, which every time brought the defeat to both peoples, but joint actions were successful.
