MIP: On October 14, Japanese Artist Is Coming to Ukraine for the First Time with Manga-Style Illustrations of Ukrainian Servicemen

For the Defender of Ukraine Day on 14 October 2017, a presentation of manga-style illustrations, Ukrainian Soldier in Japanese Illustrations, will be held at the Ukrinform Art Hub.

In order to show her works, a Japanese artist working in this technique is coming to our country. She will bring 15 pictures with her.

The artist is interested in the Ukrainian Army, that is the military esthetics of Ukraine’s force structures.

The event will begin at 3:00 p.m. with the participation of the artist and the leadership of the organizers. Also, servicemen have been invited to the conference so that our guest could talk live with our defenders and be inspired for her future creations.

We are preparing a small performance, exchange of cultural values between the two countries.

Media workers are invited to cover the presentation, and everyone willing to do so is free to attend the presentation to look at the pictures.

It should be noted that this year has been proclaimed the Year of Japan in Ukraine.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, and co-organized by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine.
