On 1-2 September, Fashion Tech Summit Takes Place in Kyiv

On 1-2 September 2018, an educational event of a new format, Fashion Tech Summit, will be held at TSUM Kyiv Department Store (38 Khreshchatyk St).

The Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine provides information support of the event. Daria Shapovalova and Nataliia Modenova are the ideamongers and founders of the project.

The event begins on 1 September, 10:45am.

Fashion Tech Summit is a series of educational events which commenced on 20 June, at Fashion Tech Summit in Paris, where representatives of leading fashion market companies took the floor, including Business of Fashion, Browns, Panoply, Launchmetrics, International Fashion Academy, and others. In Kyiv, the participants will be joined by representatives of Snapchat, Pinterest, 500 Startups, McKinsey & Company, Stanford University, IDEO, and many other companies.

In addition, the summit will also feature speeches by the best Ukrainian companies, which will present their successful cases, including Banda Agency, Kasta, MacPaw, Concepter, etc. The event will provide a platform for communication with top Ukrainian bloggers and digital influencers, such as Alina Frendiy, Masha Tymoshenko, Mariia Hrebeniuk, Anna Andres, Santa Dimopulos, Oleksandra Lytvyn, Sasha Zaiets.

At the summit, a startup competition will be held, designed to become a platform for developing entrepreneurship and innovations not only in the tech fashion field but also in a broader spectrum of creative fields, including clothing retail. Fashion Tech Summit has announced a competition for the prospective project, which will be mentored by the summit’s speakers. Tania Soman, venture partner at San Francisco-based 500 Startups, will preside over the jury. As part of the competition, three projects which will be given a mentoring session by Fashion Tech Summit speakers will also be selected.
