On 20 August 2018, at 10:00am, a press conference titled “Ukrainian Is Easy! Presenting a Radio Programme on Learning Ukrainian” will be held at the press centre of Ukrinform, a news agency.
At the event, a new programme to be broadcast on Hit FM radio every day at 6:30pm will be presented. Its host, Oksana Bas-Kononeko, a professional philologist, will teach listeners how to speak their native language correctly and elegantly.
The project was initiated by the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine pursuant to the Decree by the President of Ukraine “On Urgent Measures to Strengthen the State Status of the Ukrainian Language and Promote the Establishment of the Single Cultural Space of Ukraine”.
Participants: Maryna Sobotiuk, Adviser to the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine on International Communication; Oksana Bas-Kononenko, Ph.D. in Philology, Associate Professor at the Chair of the Ukrainian Language and Applied Linguistics of the Institute of Philology of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv; Anna Lisovska, content director at Hit FM.
