On 21 October MIP will present the results of the Open Source Intelligence project

21 October, a presentation of project results of the Open Source Intelligence regarding search and process information using the latest technologies, methods of media intelligence in journalistic investigations for journalists and bloggers will be held at 12.00 p.m. (Hall 1)

Participants: Artem Bidenko – the Deputy Minister of information policy of Ukraine; Dmytro Zolotukhin – head of the OSINT Academy project, director of the Institute of post-information society, Advisor to the Minister of information policy of Ukraine.

Additional information. All-Ukrainian educational project OSINT Academy is launched by the Institute of post-information society with the assistance of the European Endowment For Democracy and the Ministry of information policy of Ukraine.

In Ukraine, the OSINT project works for more than a year, within which 25 free trainings in 20 cities of Ukraine (more than 1000 participants) were already held.

The project aims to teach everyone to use the latest OSINT techniques (Open Source Intelligence) in order to create a public-important content, including about corrupt officials, politicians, candidates for elected office, as well as to recognize “fake” and false information of the separate media and the like.
