On 3 September 2018, Forum “The Prospects of Ukraine NOW Branding in Creative Industry Projects” to Be Held

On 3 September 2018, at 1:00pm, a forum titled “The Prospects of Ukraine NOW Branding in Creative Industry Projects” will take place at Mystetskyi Arsenal in Kyiv within the framework of Ukrainian Fashion Week.

The forum is designed to show the variety of use of the Ukraine NOW brand and become a platform for discussing the prospect of branding in projects meant both for Ukraine and abroad with creative industry leaders.

Organised by: Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine together with the UFW team.

Representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the Export Promotion Office, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, the National Bureau “Creative Europe” in Ukraine, and creative industries from the private sector have been invited to the event.

Speakers: Svitlana Fomenko, First Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine; Artem Bidenko, State Secretary of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine; Anton Ivanov, senior designer at Bandu Agency; Andriy Dlihach, Doctor of Economic Sciences, CEO Advanter Group, member of the Core Team under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade for the development of Ukraine’s exporting strategy; Andriy Zablotskyi, director of the Institute of Post-Information Society; Olena Borysova, CEO at Dmytro Borysov’s restaurants group; Anna Yelisieieva, creative producer of “Mavka. The Forest Song”, an animation film; Yuliia Savostina, founder of Made in Ukraine; Uliana Khromiak, Deputy Head of the Supervisory Board at UkraineInvest; Valeriy Pekar, lecturer at KMBS and LvBS business schools, who participated in developing Ukraine’s tourist brand (2013); Iryna Prokofieva, Head of Programmes at Ukrainian Institute; Dmytro Bulanov, art director at Dmytro Bulanov creative büro; Hennadiy Kurochka, co-founder and member of the Board of the Ukrainian Crisis Media Centre, exclusive representative of CNN in Ukraine, founder and executive partner at CFC Consulting.

On 10 May 2018, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved Ukraine NOW, a brand designed by Banda Agency within the framework of the Commission for Promotion of Ukraine in the World under the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine. MIP is actively promoting the brand both in Ukraine and abroad.

Creative industries are one of the most dynamic sectors of the global economy. In accordance with this year’s amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Culture”, these forms of economic activity are designed to create an added value and jobs through cultural and creative manifestation, with their products and services being the result of individual creativity.
