On 9 August 2018, at 11:00am, a press conference titled “Marking the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples” will be held at the press centre of Ukrinform, a news agency.
At the event, an All-Ukrainian communication campaign of the Ministry of International Policy of Ukraine as well as the events planned by the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people for 9 August, the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, will be presented.
Participants: Refat Chubarov, people’s deputy of Ukraine, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people; Emine Dzhaparova, First Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine; Natalya Belitser, expert at the Pylyp Orlyk Institute for Democracy; Oliver Loode, expert at the Estonian Institute for Human Rights; Ilmi Umerov, Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people; Arsen Zhumadilov, Chief of Board at the Crimean Institute for Strategic Studies, Adviser to the Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people.
