On 28 February 2019, at 4:00pm, a diplomatic reception will be held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day, presenting “Speak Ukrainian,” a website for foreigners to learn Ukrainian.
The senior leadership of Ukraine, members of the diplomatic missions in Ukraine, and representatives of the educational institutions and organisations concerned have been invited to the reception.
The site was designed in 2018 by the order of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, pursuant to the President’s order on urgent steps towards strengthening the state status of the Ukrainian language (No. 156/2018).
