On January 25th, Press Conference on Presentation of Feature Film Krytu 1918

On January 25th, a press conference dedicated to the presentation of the feature film Krytu 1918 will be held at the cinema Oscar (SEC GULLIVER, 1a Sportyvna St) with the participation of Artem Bidenko, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.

The presspersons will be able to watch the first trailer, the poster, exclusive videos, as well as to interview the film’s creators and the visitors to the event.

The film will be presented by the creative team including the director Oleksii Shaparev, the producer Andrii Korniienko, the screenwriter Kostiantyn Konovalov, and actors Yevhen Lamah, Nadiia Koverska, Andrii Fedinchyk, Oleksii Trytenko, Oleksandr Piskynov, Dmytro Stupka, Ostap Stupka.

Participants: Pavlo Rozenko, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine; Artem Bidenko, State Secretary of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine; Yevhen Nyshchuk, Minister of Culture of Ukraine; Pylyp Illienko, Head of the Ukrainian State Film Agency.

About the film. The feature film is based on real events of the fight at the railway station Kruty in the winter of 1918. Amid the historic events in the country, two brothers, Andrii and Oleksa Savytskyi fall in love with the beautiful Sofiia.

Bolsheviks are approaching Kyiv, with the city replete with ‘red’ agents. The UNR government sends all combat effective units of the army, including junkers and students, to fight back the enemy. Four hundred young men, including Andrii and Oleksa, stand against four thousand well equipped troops.
