On March 12th, Press Conference "The World Is Going to See 'Cyborgs'" on Film Cyborg's Screening Abroad to Be Held

On March 12th, at 12:30 a.m., a press conference “The World Is Going to See Cyborgs” on the screening of the film Cyborgs about the heroic defenders of the Donetsk airport abroad will be held at the news agency Ukrinform.

Participants: Emine Dzhaparova, First Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine; Mariia Ionova, Ukraine’s MP, member of Ukraine’s Permanent Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe; Akhtem Seitablaiev, director of Cyborgs; Anatolii Solovei, Head of the Department of Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

Additional information. In March this year, the feature film Cyborgs about the heroic defence of the Donetsk airport by Ukrainian warriors, based on real events and produced in Ukraine, is to be screened abroad.

Ukraine’s state structures plan to present the film abroad with the participation of the cyborg warriors who inspired the film’s characters, artists, diplomats, Ukrainian politicians, and public activists in a number of countries including the USA, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, the Baltic states and other European countries.

Cyborgs. Heroes Do Not Die is a Ukrainian feature film directed by Akhtem Seitablaiev. The film was shot during February-April 2017, and was first screened in Ukraine on 6 December 2017, on the Ukraine’s Armed Forces Day. During the first weekend, the film collected more than 8 million hryvnias, a record figure for Ukrainian films. After the first eight weeks of the screening, the film topped the list of the box office hits, having attracted 22,252 million hryvnias.
