On March 29th, MIP to Report on Implemented International Communication Projects

On March 29th, at 11:00 a.m., the press centre of the news agency Ukrinform will host a press conference on the occasion of the presentation of two projects of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine in Japan – the short feature film Djakuyu and an exhibition of pictures of Ukrainian military in manga style.

During the event, MIP will speak about the prospects of implementing projects in the field of international communication in 2018.

Participants: Artem Bidenko, State Secretary of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine; Mariia Ionova, Ukraine’s MP, member of the Permanent Delegation of Ukraine to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe; Daisuke Minamino, First Secretary, Head of the Political Section of the Embassy of Japan in Ukraine; Maryna Sobotiuk, Adviser to the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine on International Communication.

The short feature film Djakuyu shows Ukraine through the eyes of a Japanese tourist as an interesting, hospitable, and unique country with breathtaking landscapes and rich history. The film was produced by the Best Friends Film company to the order of MIP.

In October 2017, the artist Natzume came to Ukraine from Japan at the invitation of the Ministry of Information Policy, bringing her works depicting Ukrainian military in the Japanese style of manga. Since March 14th, the pictures have been exhibited in the Embassy of Ukraine in Japan on a constant basis.
