On November 21, International Campaign "Ukrainian Politics and Mass Media as Viewed by Youth" to Be Summarized

On 21 November 2017, the International Campaign “Ukrainian Politics and Mass Media as Viewed by the Youth”, aimed at encouraging patriotism among the youth, is to finish.

The campaign was organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Ukraine and the World Congress of Ukrainian Youth Organizations, supported by the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, the Inter-Fractional Deputies’ Association (IFDA) Cooperation: Ukraine – Diaspora, the Kyiv Regional State Administration, and the civil group Promin’ Ukraina (Beam Ukraine).

The results of the event will be presented at the conference hall of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Kyiv, 5 Hrushevskoho St.) on November 21 at 12:30 a.m.

Additional information. On 14 November 2017, the International Campaign “Ukrainian Politics as Viewed by the Youth”, aimed at encouraging patriotism among the youth, began in Ukraine.

40 people participated in the event, of whom 10 are representatives of Ukrainian youth whereas the others are Ukrainian diaspora youth from 21 countries (Georgia, Moldova, Lithuania, Italy, the Russian Federation, the Czech Republic, Finland, Israel, Slovakia, Estonia, Germany, Australia, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Argentina, Greece, Brazil, France, Kazakhstan, Serbia).

During the event, the participants got acquainted with the activity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, local bodies of state and municipal power, national mass media, as well as participation in the parliamentary hearings “Shaping and Implementing the State Youth Policy in Ukraine amid Decentralization.”

The above event is aimed at encouraging Ukrainian youth living both in Ukraine and abroad to participate in the public and social and political life of the state by virtue of internship at Ukrainian Parliament, bodies of executive power and mass media.
