September 13: Crimean Tatar Public Diplomacy. The Follow-Up of the Project Dedicated to the 10th Anniversary of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples

On September 13, at 10:00 a.m., a round table discussion titled “The Follow-Up of Crimean Tatar Public Diplomacy Dedicated to the 10th Anniversary of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples” is held at the Ukrinform news agency (Hall 2).

Organized by: Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine; Crimean Tatar Resource Center; Estonian Institute of Human Rights; Office of the Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for the Affairs of Crimean Tatars; Permanent Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

Participants: Mariam Wallet, Chair of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII), via Skype; Refat Chubarov, Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people; Aet Kukk, CEO of the Estonian Institute of Human Rights; Emine Dzhaparova, First Deputy Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine; Oliver Loode, expert at the Estonian Institute of Human Rights; Eskender Bariiev, Head of NGO “Crimean Tatar Resource Center”; Borys Babin, Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
