On September 7, at 11:00 a.m., MIP’s communication campaign “Study English” is to be presented (Hall 1).
Organized by: Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.
Participants: Artem Bidenko, State Secretary of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine; Mustafa Nayyem, people’s deputy of Ukraine, co-founder of the Go Global initiative on promoting and learning foreign languages in Ukraine.
Additional Information. The Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine has worked out a communication campaign in order to encourage studying English in Ukraine.
The campaign provides for distributing lightboxes, video clips, in particular at airports, trains, and on television.
Also, the Go Global initiative has involved itself in the distribution of the campaign’s materials.
Upon the Go Global’s initiative, the year 2016 was declared the Year of the English Language in Ukraine. Researches by TNS have revealed that it is in 2016 that 34 percent of Ukrainians began studying English.
