When do we do this?

7-13 June 2018.

Why do we do this?

On 27 April 2017, the European Parliament decided to mark the year 2018 as the European Year of Cultural Heritage. The initiative is aimed at promoting the Ukrainian poetry legacy as a full-fledged component of European cultural heritage and thus cultivating in the youth respect for the Ukrainian language.

How do we do this?

We will be reading poetry by both Ukrainian authors and world classics translated into Ukrainian for seven days, non-stop, online.

You will be able to watch how the record is achieved on the YouTube page of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine.
