Supported by MIP, on 14 November 2017, International Campaign “Ukrainian Politics and Media as Viewed by the Youth” is to Begin

On 14 November 2017, the International Campaign “Ukrainian Politics and Media as Viewed by the Youth” is to begin.

Supported by the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, the Campaign is organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Ukraine together with the World Congress of Ukrainian Youth Organizations.

The event will be officially opened at the conference hall of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (Kyiv, 5 Hrushevskoho St.) on November 14 at 4:00 p.m.

The event will be attended by 40 participants, of whom 10 are representatives of Ukrainian youth whereas the others are Ukrainian diaspora youth from 21 countries (Georgia, Moldova, Lithuania, Italy, the Russian Federation, the Czech Republic, Finland, Israel, Slovakia, Estonia, Germany, Australia, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Argentina, Greece, Brazil, France, Kazakhstan, Serbia).

It is designed to galvanize the participation of the Ukrainian youth living in Ukraine and abroad, in the civil and social and political life of the state by undergoing internship at Ukrainian Parliament, bodies of state power and mass media.

Journalists and media workers not accredited to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine have to file additionally information and copied of documents certifying the identity (a passport or editorial journalist card).

Additional information. The International Campaign will last from 14-22 November 2017. The event programme, in particular, provides for the acquaintance of the participants with the activity of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, local bodies of state and municipal power, national mass media, as well as participation in the parliamentary hearings “Shaping and Implementing the State Youth Policy in Ukraine amid Decentralization.”
