This morning, on November 24, russians targeted the Regional Children’s Library in Kherson named after Dniprova Chaika.
“Children’s library. Six in the morning. A direct hit by a shell. Barbarians destroyed the Kherson book collection, which for years delighted the youngest visitors and their parents”, – informed Oleksandr Prokudin, the Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration,
The Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration added that people were not injured. And also promised that the library building will definitely be repaired.
The Kherson Regional Children’s Library served approximately 20,000 readers annually. The library collection included over 100,000 copies of scientific, reference, encyclopedic, and fiction literature, as well as periodicals.
