Government Appointed the Deputies of the Minister of Information Policy

SPEAKER OF THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION POLICY

During the session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on February 4 the people’s deputies approved the resolution according to which Tetiana Popova was appointed the Deputy of the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Yurii StetsArtem Bidenko was also appointed the Deputy of the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine — the Chief of Staff.

Tetiana Popova is an advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, the member of the Public Council of the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting. As Deputy Minister of Information Policy, she will be responsible for cooperation with journalists working in the ATO area, establishment of an Armed Forces of Ukraine television channel, restoration of Ukrainian TV channels broadcasting, and delivery of Ukrainian press both to liberated cities and temporarily occupied territories.

Artem Bidenko is the Chairman of the Coordinating Council of Outdoor Advertising Association of Ukraine, member of the Public Council of the Committee of Freedom of Speech and Information Policy of Verkhovna Rada. As chief of staff he will be responsible for open and transparent operation of the Ministry, coordination of processes inside the structure, particularly, legal and analytical departments, working out draft laws, development of the Concept of information security of Ukraine, and ensuring effective social projects of the Cabinet of Ukraine.

The Deputies of the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine will start their work after publication of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
