During the meeting of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mijatovic and the Minister of Information Policy Yurii Stets, the parties discussed the issue of cooperation.
The OSCE representatives stressed that there is a huge responsibility assigned to the Ministry, and each step of the MIP team is important not only for citizens, but also for those who support Ukraine abroad.
During the meeting, Dunja Mijatovic expressed his intention to support the MIP initiatives that meet European practice.
“The development of the Concept of information security of Ukraine, which is a fundamental document for the nation promising that Ukraine will live many years of independence, is a great challenge in a state of military aggression. We, as patriots of our nation, have to protect the information space of Ukraine. The Concept of information security will be submitted to Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for consideration”, Yurii Stets reported.
Following the meeting, the parties stressed the establishment of open and trust relationships and further communication.
