Victoria Syumar, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on freedom of speech and information policy during her speech stressed: “All initiatives that were developed by the Committee jointly with the Ministry regarding the implementation of the Coalition agreement of deputy factions “European Ukraine” and plan of measures for implementing the Action plan of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Strategy for sustainable development “Ukraine-2020″ in 2015, found support in the Parliament, and became the laws. This shows the quality of cooperation between the Ministry and the Committee”.

In turn, Yurii Stets said: “The key issue for 2016 for the Ministry and me are the accomplishment of the reform of the International broadcasting multimedia platform of Ukraine and the implementation of the government communication reform. It is obvious that without changes to the laws, as a consequence of the quality cooperation between us and the relevant Committee, it will be impossible to do. Speaking of cooperation between the Parliament and the Government, our example of the quality work between the Ministry of information policy of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada Committee on freedom of speech and information policy, is probably the best. No one can be proud of such results of cooperation between the committees and ministries in the current Government and the Parliament of the VIII convocation. I appreciate this cooperation very much”.
