2 March 2017 in the press center of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ministry of information policy of Ukraine reported for the year of work in the government.
The Minister of information policy of Ukraine Yurii Stets: “I am proud of my team, each one of them has their direction of work and doing it qualitatively. We have the results: the Doctrine of the information security of Ukraine, 2 installed tele-towers (Karachun, Chonhar), that covering a part of “blind spots” with a Ukrainian broadcasting signal, Ukrainian multimedia platform for broadcasting, which brings the truth about Ukraine to the world. It’s only the main thing that can be called “victory”.”
The First Deputy Minister Emine Dzhaparova: “In the year of work, we have developed two concepts of the information reintegration of Crimea and Donbas: The concept of internally displaced person and the concept of public diplomacy of Crimean Tatars. It is a ridge that aims at three audiences: Ukraine, world, and temporarily uncontrolled territories”.
The Deputy Minister Dmytro Zolotukhin told about the introduction of the Doctrine of the information security of Ukraine: “The system of strategic communications, written in the doctrine, gives the public an opportunity to respond to the information challenges”.
The State Secretary of the Ministry Artem Bidenko: “Ukrainian multimedia platform for broadcasting becomes more and more accessible in the world every day.” Channel UA | TV has signed about 58 contracts for inclusion into worldwide cable networks. News agency “Ukrinform” is the best news agency, that broadcasts on the standards of journalism and reports the truth about events in Ukraine”.
