The Minister of information policy of Ukraine Yurii Stets in the near future will discuss with the Minister of social policy Andrii Reva the situation around the cancellation of work permit in Ukraine of TV presenter Savik Shuster.
Yurii Stets said: “I will be in the position of protection of journalists under any circumstances, after all, the Constitution of Ukraine clearly stipulates the right to freedom of speech. So I will have a conversation with the Minister of social policy and I want to hear arguments concerning the decision”.
The official position of MIP will be formed after the corresponding dialogue. We will remind, on 26 April, it became known that the State employment service has revoked the work permit in Ukraine of TV presenter Savik Shuster, on the basis of the incomplete data in the certificate of no criminal record.
